CEE337L Refraction Sample
This site is used for teaching and research for geotechnical and geophysical characterization. The soil profile includes primarily different types of gravels, clay, and sands, with some cemented lenses and caliche. Groundwater is encountered at 3 meters. The boreholes on the site have been cased and grouted for intrusive testing and barrels buried to serve as geophysical test targets.
